Speed linked with Blades transfer
Veteran midfielder Gary Speed admits he may have to leave Bolton to
prolong his playing career.
The 38-year-old former Wales international has featured little under new
Trotters boss Gary Megson.
Speed briefly held a player-coaching role under former manager Sammy Lee
but stepped down to concentrate on his playing career.
Speed, who has been linked with a January loan move to Sheffield United,
told Sky Sports: "I'm not in the team at Bolton. I've no complaints about that,
the team are playing well but I need to be playing games.
"I will see what happens. I am fit enough to play.
"I have not got much time left and I want to play football."
