Increases across the Barclays Premier League have been condemned by fans' groups. The average rise in the top flight for next season is 7.2 per cent. 其他一般球會平均漲幅的程度是7.2%。這是前幾天每日郵報報出來的，而nufc.com裡面有比較詳細的關於票價的列表，因為全部實在太長了，我就不貼上，有興趣的可以點進去(往下拉)看看。然後，我貼一段一位球迷對於這件事情在日報記者的blog上的留言跟記者的回覆： Norm：(球迷留言) Well my ST renewal came today and Mike wants ￡990 squid or ￡2700 for 3 years. Up ￡70 on last season. Well Mike if you show me yours I'll show you mine (money wise) But as things stand today - no signings - player in prison - etc, you can forget it. I have been concerned at the direction of NUFC for a number of years and I don't see any improvement in sight. Dennis Wise for God's sake. Seems its time to call it a day so I won't be renewing. 這位球迷的意思很明顯就是，如果老闆表現出他的誠意，他自然會去renew他的季票，但目前─沒有任何的球員轉入，甚至還有球員去坐牢.....etc。他目前為止看不到球隊有任何改善的地方，所以現階段，他拒絕更新他的季票。 Note From Luke (記者回覆) My fiance has said something remarkably similar Norm. What would change your mind I wonder? Newcastle are not the only club who have increased ticket prices for next season, although a 10% rise is more than the national average of 7%. I guess the worry is that Ashley has, as yet, failed to provide any sort of meaningful backing to the manager in the transfer market. 記者則表示，Newcastle並不是唯一在下賽季會漲價的球會，即使漲了10%比一般平均漲 7%的還要多。但重點是，老闆入主到現在，他從來沒有在轉會市場支持過他的主教練。 He didn't fancy Sam Allardyce, but Keegan is his appointment.
