KK強調，如果把這不能讓球隊更前進的話，他是不會賣走Milner的。這項轉會的發生對所有人來說，都是對的。包括對球員本身。 4. KK祝他好運。 5. KK另外說 "Milner沒有做錯任何事"，他希望球迷不要這樣想。 Milner值得這樣的轉會，這也是他想要的。 "It's not ideal in the short-term but Villa are the buying club and they have paid a lot of money for him and wanted him available for Sunday. "But at the end of the day it was my decision to sell him. We got an offer which I felt was good value. "It might not look like a positive move to fans at the moment but what will happen in the next two to three days will be positive. "I wouldn't have sold him if at the end of the day I didn't believe it would move the club forward. "What has happened is right for everybody. The only thing that I can say is the lad has done nothing wrong, the fans shouldn't think that. "He deserves the move that at the end of the day I think he wanted." "James had a difficult time when you consider he almost signed once and got dragged back at the last minute. "But he's a fantastic pro and never whinged and just got on with things. Villa have got an outstanding player but we have to move on. "I wish him all the best and I've enjoyed working with him. Fans will have mixed opinions but the lad has not done anything wrong.
