在進了紐卡生涯第一球以穆斯林禮拜方式慶祝、並隨之幹進第二、第三球，
成為紐卡隊史上第一位帽子戲法的外籍（非英國）球員後，等爸爸（Demba Ba）說：
"It's been a good day after a lot of work this week, There have been
a lot of bad performances, but today the work paid off for me.
「在整個星期的刻苦訓練之後，這是一個完美的結局。」
「也許前陣子我的表現不太理想，不過（這些努力在）今天終於得到應有的報償了。」
"I was not fit at the beginning of the season but now, after six games,
I'm starting to get my sharpness back and will keep on working
until it is 100 per cent.
「我在球季剛開始時體能尚未調整到最好，不過現在，經過六場比賽之後，
我開始找回自己的狀態，持續努力下去，準備回到 100% 的自己。」
"The manager said that when I was fit I was going to get my chance
and that it was up to me to take it or leave it.
「主帥說，只要我能恢復體能，我就能抓住機會。
這就是取決於我自己『要』還是『不要』這個機會啦。」
"You feel happy. I've scored my first goals here this season,
and I hope they will keep on coming."
「（在這種情況下）你能感到開心。
本季終於進了第一球，我希望其他的進球也能依序到來。」
