首先是第四根柱（Steven Taylor），他說他八歲時——
"I was in the Sir John Hall stand with my dad in that season."
「那一季（1994年聯賽不敗）的某場球，我和我爸一起在 Sir John Hall 看台看球。」
"The team then was very special."
「當時的那支紐卡非常獨特。」
"To be level with them is something to be proud of.
It is some achievement for this team."

"We were reminded beforehand that we could make history.
We are doing all right, who'd have thought we'd be here after 11 games?"
「隊友間彼此互相提醒：我們有機會改寫歷史！」

"It's a big confidence booster and something the lads needed."

卡配羅先生好像完全無視這條最少失球的後防線呢？
"If I've got my team-mates, my manager and the fans behind me -
that's the most important thing,"
「我只要我的紐卡隊友、我的主帥和球迷們支持我就夠了，這才是唯一重要之事。」
"The manager said some nice things, which is fantastic.
I'll just keep playing week in, week out, and hopefully we'll keep getting
results. I'll let other people do the talking.
「怕肚和我聊過，他和我說了一些很棒的話。」（謎）
「我會繼續每週上陣為紐卡拼戰，也希望好結果能繼續。其他事就讓其他人去說吧。」
"My team-mates and manager have stuck by me, and the fans have been
brilliant. Credit to them - I've got to thank everyone for helping me.

"Don't get me wrong, it's the greatest honour for a professional footballer
to be called up for your country.

"If that chance comes along, I'll relish it. I'll just keep working hard and
hopefully playing well for Newcastle, and see what happens."
「如果機會來了再讓我抓住它吧。在此之前，我只會不停地努力表現，
在紐卡好好踢球，然後看看會有什麼事情發生。」
