Newcastle United have warned Wales they will sue them for damages
and compensation if Craig Bellamy returns to Tyneside injured next week.
The letter arrived at the FAW headquarters in Cardiff today -
and the contents were immediately relayed to Welsh manager Mark Hughes
at his team's headquarters just outside Milan.
And, in a counter-move, Hughes says he is considering taking legal
action against United for describing Wales decision to let Bellamy play
tomorrow as "disgraceful."
The feeling in Wales today was that Bellamy will still be in Hughes'
starting line-up for the crucial Euro 2004 qualifier in Milan's San
Siro Stadium.
