Outside opinion
A scout from another organization believes the Erik Bedard trade to Seattle
could exceed the Bartolo Colon trade to Montreal and the A.J. Pierzynski
trade to San Francisco as the best in baseball history.
The Indians received Lee Stevens - yawn - and three prospects for Colon.
Those prospects happened to be Grady Sizemore, Cliff Lee and Brandon Phillips.
The Twins received Joe Nathan and two prospects for Pierzynski. Those
prospects happened to be Francisco Liriano and Boof Bonser.
Jumping to football, a plaque honoring Art Modell will be unveiled at the
Sports Legends Museum Thursday as part of an invitation-only ceremony. Stop
