O's put Albers on 15-day DL
RHP goes on disabled list with sore shoulder; team calls up reliever F.

The Orioles placed pitcher Matt Albers on the 15-day disabled list today with
a sore right shoulder and brought up reliever Fernando Cabrera from Triple-A
Norfolk.
Albers left last night's game against the Chicago Cubs after facing only five
batters, recording a strikeout, allowing three straight hits and issuing a
walk. Albers was making an emergency start, his third with the Orioles this
season, after left-hander Brian Burres was scratched because of a stomach
illness.
Cabrera has been on the disabled list after undergoing surgery over the
winter to remove bone chips from his right elbow. He posted a 0.69 ERA in 11
relief appearances at Norfolk, walking seven and striking out 13 in 13
innings.
