The Baltimore Orioles have a glaring hole at the shortstop position
and have engaged in talks with the Toronto Blue Jays about aquiring
former World Series MVP, David Eckstein, reports Jeff Zrebiec of the
Baltimore Sun.
The Jays have plenty of talent in the middle infield, which will
probably drive the price for Eckstein down.
He signed a one-year deal worth $4.5 million with the Blue Jays
this offseason and is currently batting .273 with one home run.
