Jim Johnson matches Randy Myers' Orioles save record with his 45th By Dan Connolly The Baltimore Sun 8:00 a.m. EDT, September 20, 2012 Jim Johnson has had much smoother saves than the one Wednesday night in the 11th inning. But that one gets him into the Orioles’ record book. It was his 45th save of the season (out of 48 chances).
