In five games (two starts) with the Orioles, he was 2-0 with a 5.28 ERA. He allowed three earned runs in five innings at Boston on Sept. 22, but felt some discomfort on a pitch in that game. The ligament tear was diagnosed shortly thereafter. Wolf will be a free agent after the World Series, and he wasn’t expected back with the Orioles.
