[新聞] Magic's new players

這篇是介紹一下我們從選秀會上得到的球員，包含交易得來的Jameer
Nelson。Howard的缺點在於沒有低位單打的技巧，而Nelson則是太矮
（不過和我們上季的先發相比，差不多高嘛*笑*）。而Varejao 的評
價還蠻狠的，哈哈。

Dwight Howard
Position: Forward
Height/Weight: 6-10, 240
Birthdate: Dec. 8, 1985 (Atlanta)
High School: Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy
Personal: Father Dwight is a Georgia State trooper;
Mother Sheryl played on the inaugural women's
team at Morris Brown College.
Strengths: Very athletic and still growing. Eventually
could play all three of the front court positions.
Weaknesses: Doesn't have a real low-post scoring move yet.
Expectations: The Magic believe he can become another Kevin
Garnett.

Jameer Nelson
Position: Guard
Height/Weight: 6-0, 190
Birthdate: Feb. 9, 1982 (Chester, Pa.)
High School: Chester HS (Chester, Pa.)
College: St. Joseph's
Honors: Consensus National Player of the Year
Personal: Majored in sociology.
Strengths: He is a winner, leading St. Joe's to 27
consecutive victories during the regular season.
A good floor general, knowing how to distribute
the ball.
Weaknesses: Doesn't have good size for the NBA
Averages: 20.6 ppg, 5.3 apg.

Anderson Varejao
Position: Forward
Height/Weight: 6-10, 230
Birthdate: Sept, 28, 1982 (Santa Teresa, Brazil)
Last Team: F.C. Barcelona (Spain)
Career Highlight:
A member of the Brazilian National Team and a
former member of Brazil's Junior National team.
Averages: Last season, he averaged 7.5 points and 4.4 rebounds.
Strengths: He runs well and he is a high energy player.
Weaknesses: Not the best athlete
Chances of Playing:
He is likely to return to Europe to play next season
