His numbers went south towards the end of the season but those numbers would greatly increase in Orlando. Pietrus can score. He can shoot the jumper and attack the basket. With about 13 million dollars to spend the belief in Orlando is that the beautiful location and opportunity to play with young star Dwight Howard will be enough to attract the top free agents. Some of that may be true however the Magic shouldn’t be overconfident. Most of the basketball world is fully aware of the problems the Magic have run into this summer.
