Padres Avoid Arbitration With Carlos Quentin

The Padres announced that they avoided arbitration with outfielderCarlos Quentin
and Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com tweets that the sidesagreed to a $7.025MM salary
for 2012. MLBTR had projected a $6.6MM salaryfor the CAA client.
The Padres have two unsigned arbitration eligible players: Dustin Moseley
and Clayton Richard.
