Through three games, Armstrong is 1-of-15 shooting. During New Orleans' West Coast trip this month, Armstrong admitted tendinitis in his right knee was affecting his ability to push off on jump shots. He sprained his right ankle April 9 against Boston, then re-sprained it in practice April 17, the day before Game 1. "I don't like to put anything on my knee or ankle," Armstrong said. "This year, when I didn't have the ankle, I had the knee and still had big games. Having two (injuries) is kind of tough, but I'm not worrying about it. I like teams to play off me or not pay me attention." Armstrong concedes many players are banged up at this time of the year. "To me, it's all about how much desire and how much passion you have to play through it," Armstrong said. "Everybody can't play through it. Everybody doesn't like pain. . . . I know I can be a difference in the game with tempo change. It's not always about scoring." HEAT INJURIES: Forward Caron Butler sat out Sunday's workout because of soreness in his right Achilles tendon, but told the Miami area news media he would play tonight "no matter what." Forward Lamar Odom missed no practice time, though he needed six stitches to close the gash over his left eye opened by a collision with Davis. He said he doesn't plan to wear a clear mask to protect the area. "If they hit it again, then I'll just be out of luck," Odom said. "But I don't think they'll hit it again." CONCERT: The Bucktown All-Stars will provide tonight's pregame entertainment outside the Arena. The music begins at 5:30 p.m. on Girod Street, and $1 beer will be available, as will a variety of concessions and interactive games. . . . . . . .
