△ Chris Paul 和 Speedy Claxton 將持續在場上打雙控球，Scott觀察到兩個人在練習時互相競爭與激勵，突發奇想的在熱身賽最後幾場乃至於季賽前兩場將兩個人同時派上場去打雙控球，收到了不錯的效果。 "They would just go after each other in practice, and the way they would do it made me think that if they were on the court together this would be pret -ty fun,"Scott said."I think the first game I did that,I was convinced this would work all season long." 在第一場比賽中，兩個人聯合拿下30分14籃板6助攻成功打贏國王隊。而第二場比賽中，雖然輸給了騎士隊但兩個人依然拿到29分5籃板5助攻3抄截的成績。 Scott說他唯一關心的事情只有對手利用Claxton 5呎11吋而Paul也只有6呎身高的防守。 "The shooting guard is always going to try and post one of them up," Scott said."The one thing I like about those two is that they are so competitive and so tough that they are just not going to allow people to score on them. But on the offensive end, I think we give people fits, because they are extremely fast,they are both tenacious when they are going to the basket and they both will push it at you and they can score. So I like that combination."
