Power forward David West nailed his third game-winning shot of the 2005-06 campaign Monday night for a one-point victory vs. Washington, which capped New Orleans/Oklahoma City's fantastic 4-0 seven-day period. West previously made deciding jumpers against Houston and Milwaukee in the Ford Center. The Hornets' triumph over the Wizards capped a stretch in which they posted three consecutive wins without the services of injured point guard Chris Paul , including weekend verdicts vs. New York and at Minnesota.
