Bobby Abreu is happy to get a chance with Phillies February 16, 2014 / Jim Salisbury CLEARWATER, Fla. - For the first time in eight years, Bobby Abreu walked into the Phillies' spring training clubhouse Sunday. 八年過去喏親愛的ㄚ布再次踏入PHI的春訓～清水基地 Back in 2006, he was still one of the team's main men. Now, he's a non-roster player on a tryout, a veteran trying to keep his career alive as a reserve player with the team he starred for from 1998 to 2006. 時間能摧毀一切一代巨星終究會烙到個小檸檬約 .. 他堅持繼續打球的話 "I just love this game and I feel I can still play," Abreu said. "I think I still have more in the tank. I just have to go out and show them. It's an opportunity. I'll try to do my best and show them I can still play. That's it." 我還愛打扮球我還能打偶彈匣還沒用完偶會在春訓展示出來讓他們知道～俺行兒！ (拍胸脯) Abreu, who turns 40 on March 11, did not get a major-league offer last year so he sat out after 17 years in the majors. He continued to work out in his native Venezuela and played well enough there this winter that several teams tried to sign him to a minor-league deal. PHI只給他小檸檬約邀請春訓ㄚ布雷烏仍義無反顧的簽了下去！ If Abreu succeeds in making the club, he could very well be in the team's opening day lineup March 31 at Texas. That is an interleague game. The Phillies will need a designated hitter against right-hander Yu Darvish. 假若春訓結束破營時ㄚ布成功的上了一軍他很可能開幕戰就先發出場原因是今年PHI的開幕戰就是遠征先進的米果聯盟 3/31 到阿靈頓面對今年范特西投手榜眼的達比修 (要哭找不到目屎 :~~ ) 這時最好能讓左打的Bobby以ＤＨ之姿先發好歹凹個保送或是讓達比修多投幾球累一點 (別忘了ㄚ布是惡名昭彰的～從不趕下班者! ) That's far off in the distance. For now, Abreu is intent on proving himself over the next six weeks. "I believe in myself," he said. "I know what I can do. I know I'm not the same as I was when I was 25, 26, but I'm still fine. He ranks 22nd all-time with 1,456 walks and 23rd with 565 doubles. His career on-base percentage (.396) ranks 77th all-time. 生涯上壘率三成九六這啥鬼 (￣￣")│││ Abreu needs just 13 homers and one stolen base to join Barry and Bobby Bonds as the only players with 300 homers and 400 stolen bases. 只要再13支全壘打一次盜壘ㄚ布就能在歷史上與棒子爺及棒子爹齊名 ( HR好像有點難 orz ) "Right now I'm just concentrating on playing baseball and having fun," Abreu said. He made two All-Star teams with the Phillies, but was gone by the time the club blossomed into a five-time division winner from 2007 to 2011 and World Series champion in 2008.
