Phillies select lefty Matt Imhof in second round June 5, 2014 / John Finger Matt Imhof had the sixth-most strikeouts in Division I last season with 124. In 99 1/3 innings last season Imhof struck out 124, which was sixth most in the NCAA Division I. It was Imhof's pitching that led Cal Poly to the NCAA regionals for the first time in school history. Though his fastball tops out at 94-mph, Imhof features a big, sweeping curve with a deceptive delivery. "That certainly works to his advantage." 不過應該是不會快過狀元 Nola :D~~~ Wolever said the Phillies were hoping to select a hitter with the No. 47 pick, but Imhof was too good to pass up.
