Pirates shortstop Jack Wilson was scratched from the starting lineup of
Friday's game against the Phillies, suffering from right shoulder stiffness.
Wilson, who was slated to hit No. 8, was replaced in the lineup by Luis Rivas.
Wilson strained his left calf in the third game of the Pirates' 2008 season
and was out until May 27.
Before Friday, the 30-year-old had started at shortstop in 57 of the Pirates'
past 58 games, hitting .267 in the process.
