"Yeah, I don't know when yet, though," he said. The Pistons were off Monday and play host to Toronto today and Miami on Thursday. "We will just have to wait and see what happens," coach Flip Saunderssaid. "Maybe he won't have to miss any games, but we don't really know." Planning funeral dates has been slowed by the holidays and by the ongoing criminal investigation stemming from the shooting. Wallace has played in two games since his cousin was killed, totaling 33 points with 12 rebounds and four blocked shots. "Playing those two, 2 1/2 hours has helped me take my mind off it," he said. "But, otherwise, I sit around and think about it." Only the Pistons and Timberwolves have had their starting fives for every game this season. Since Wallace joined the Pistons on Feb. 19, 2004, the current starting five has an 84-24 regular-season record. Follow the leader The Pistons have won seven straight since Ben Wallacepublicly scolded the team for not playing Pistons basketball. And it has been Wallace who has led the charge. "His energy is our energy," Tayshaun Princesaid. Over the seven games, Wallace has averaged 10.1 points, 15.1 rebounds, 2.85 blocks and 2.14 steals. "He's the best in the business," Chauncey Billupssaid. "His energy is greater than everybody's." Wallace, though, said he wasn't trying to lead by example, nor does he give himself any credit for the Pistons' hot streak. "I am just going out and playing hard and doing what I have to do to help the team win," he said. Wallace leads all NBA centers with 48 dunks. His 21 rebounds Sunday marked the first time he's pulled down more than 20 in more than two years. In the bonus Saunders, trying to make the point that Sunday's victory wouldn't matter much in the grand scheme of an 82-game season, asked reporters if they could remember the final score from Game 7 in the NBA Finals last June?
