I thought they had a great summer, to be honest with you. One trip up in the game against Greece, a game they still could have won, but outside of that I thought the team did a phenomenal job. It was a very young team with something to prove and I thought they did. They showed the U.S. that we were going to get serious about it again. What do you bring to this team? I think I bring some leadership. I’m a veteran who has been on a lot of different stages. I bring some outside shooting which is important in the international game, some toughness, some defense. I think everybody brings something different. Those are the things I am going to try to bring every night to this team. Are you looking forward to competing with these guys? I am, I really am. I missed out on the opportunity last year due to the birth of my daughter, but this year I am ready, 100% on board and hopefully everything works out just fine. How does it feel to wear the USA on your chest? It feels great. To have a chance to reclaim some dominance for the U.S. and to be a part of it means a lot. I have played on a lot of different stages, but I haven’t played on the international level yet and I am really looking forward to the experience/ TAYSHAUN PRINCE How excited are you to be with the team? I am very excited. For one it gives you an opportunity to play with some awesome guys and a great coaching staff. It also provides an opportunity to get better. Not a lot of players are playing at this particular time and this is a time where we are out here getting some work, we’re improving and most importantly we want to get USA Basketball back on top of the map and that’s going to start right here on this practice court. What do you think your role will be on this team? What I bring to a team is unselfishness, defensively containing opponents, rebounding -- whatever it takes. Whatever they want me to do, I’ll do.
