Q: OK, so if the Pistons stay at nine, who's realistically
within their range and interest?
A: North Carolina's John Henson seems to fit the bill of what they want:
an athletic big to play next to Greg Monroe, someone who can take pressure
off Monroe defensively.
The Pistons made a play for the Nuggets' JaVale McGee at the trade
deadline, and although Henson isn't the athlete McGee is, you can
understand what they're looking for. Henson is a lefty,
slightly-built (6-10, 210 pounds), but averaged three blocks his
sophomore and junior years. He's another "high character" player in
the mold of Monroe and Brandon Knight.
