Cruz is obviously a bit old for a premium prospect, but he could be a useful
contributor at the highest level. He's a fastball hitter with good raw power
and a history of strong walk rates. This season he's hitting .280 AVG/.369 OBP
/.498 SLG, and could find himself in the mix for a starting job in Milwaukee
if Carlos Lee is traded at the deadline.
