Update: The Rangers expect Kinsler (ankle) to return to the lineup Friday
against the Mariners, ESPN Dallas reports.
Recommendation: Kinsler is trying to convince the team to let him play
Thursday against the White Sox, but he’s unlikely to win that battle.
Assuming all goes well in his final two rehab games, he’ll make his season
debut against new Seattle starter Cliff Lee on Friday.
