Water Cooler- Where I now sit on the Zack Greinke trade -Rangers Posted on 23:25, December 1st, 2010 by Greg Schaum I realize that I have been all over the place on if I think Greinke will be traded now or later….I have made the decision that I believe he will be traded this off season. The former 25th round pick burst on the prospect scene with a 13-1 2.27 e.r.a in 2008 and 157 k’s in 150 IP. He has a career minor league record of 23-9 with a 2.47 e.r.a.He has spent parts of the last 2 seasons in the majors going 11-17 with a 5.52 e.r.a and 161 k’s and 71 walks in 196 innings. My contact in the Dominican Enrique Rojas raves about his defense and speed and most feel his power will develop. He has 26 HR and 80 stolen bases in his young career.
