[情報] Harden on DL
I am not sure if this is bad news or not.
The Rangers placed pitcher Rich Harden on the 15-day disabled list on
Saturday with a strained left gluteal muscle.
The Rangers recalled pitcher Alexi Ogando from Triple-A Oklahoma City
and he will pitch in the bullpen. The Rangers are undecided who will be
their fifth starter. With the off-day on Monday, they don't need a fifth
starter until next Saturday, at the latest.
Matt Harrison, who was on the DL earlier this season with inflammation
in his left biceps tendon, is the leading candidate to join the rotation.
He was 1-1 with a 5.29 ERA in six starts and has a 3.52 ERA in three
relief appearances.
Harden gave up six runs in six innings in a 6-2 loss to the Brewers on
Friday night, dropping him to 3-3 with a 5.68 ERA in 13 starts on the
season.
Ogando had a 2.05 ERA in 18 relief appearances at Double-A Frisco and
Triple-A Oklahoma City.
