Inbox: Are free-agent hurlers open to Texas? There just doesn't seem to be that many great free-agent pitchers hitting the market anymore -- maybe one or two a year. Next winter, it could be Buehrle and ... C.J. Beltre is a good player, but he is not Mike Schmidt and he turns 32 next June. Rasmus is as good of a pick as anybody to have a breakout season in '11.
