Pitching and batting against Roy Halladay is going to be a career highlight Texas Rangers pitcher C.J. Wilson was interviewed on KESN-FM on Tuesday to discuss his fellow pitchers, playing against Roy Halladay and not panicking so early in the season. Here are some highlights: What are your thoughts on Colby Lewis and his latest outing and how’s he has changed from the beginning of the season till now? 你對於Lewis這陣子的表現和他從開季至今的轉變有何看法? Well, that’s good because as everybody knows, you need good starting pitching to win games and you need good starting pitching pretty much everyday with the way parity is across baseball now. So many teams are good that you really can’t just roll out anybody and when Colby is good, he’s really good. Last night, he did everything right. He got a couple of strikeouts; he got through a couple of innings really fast; and he got a shutout. That’s pretty baller. 這個嘛~對於他的好表現當然是太棒了大家都知道好的先發是非常重要的前一晚Lewis真的是什麼都做到了總之就是很給力啦! What do you make of Alexi Ogando basically doing what you did by coming out of the bullpen and being absolutely dominant? 對於從牛棚轉任先發有好表現的Ogando有什麼看法? He has been just straight up gangster out there and it’s been great. He’s got a lot of confidence. If you don’t know Ogando’s back story, he’s really been through a lot to get here and I think he takes that confidence and urgency out there every start and he’s got a phenomenal arm. As a reliever, he’s throwing 98-99 miles per hour; as a starter, he’s throwing 94-95. The dudes really don’t have a chance against him if he’s throwing strikes to the corners because his fastball is so explosive and he throws from such kind of a weird arm angle that guys have a really hard time with it. He’s starting to figure little things here and there about how to get deeper into the game so he can throw seven innings instead of six or maybe eight instead of seven and he’s done awesome for us. He’s really held our rotation together this year and if him, me and Colby are throwing well at the top of the order, then that obviously makes it a lot easier for the team to win. 從牛變成先發的他依然有著好表現和充份的自信假如你不知道他過去的故事那我來跟你講一下他真的是經過千辛萬苦才能在這投球的而我認為也因為如此他是非常認真努力的在投每一場球當他是頭牛時，可以噴出98-99mile的火球當先發時他依然還是可以怒飆94-95的快速球! 一旦他將好球塞到邊邊角角加上他剛猛的威力和怪異出手角度對他的質疑便不存在因為打者只有吃鱉的份他很盡責的將局數拉長我、他及Lewis如果都能在輪值持續有好表現球隊一定可以輕鬆獲勝的 On Friday, you get to duel Roy Halladay and the Phillies and you even get to bat, which you claim to love. Even though we have just barely over a .500 record right now, we still have over 120 games left to play and the good thing about that is we could still win an additional 70 games or more. All we have to do is get our best players back; Nelson Cruz is coming back soon; Josh Hamilton is coming back soon.
