The eastern Pennsylvania high school product could be this year's Mike Trout, a Northeastern prepster with an advanced idea at the plate, particularly when it comes to pitch recognition. He's got a nice easy stroke and loose hands that generate big-time power along with the ability to hit for average. Some extra weight this year has made him a little thicker and may have impacted his speed a bit, though he still can get down the line well. While he plays center field now, he'll likely have to go to a corner spot. With a below-average arm, that likely means left, but that's just fine given the projection of some that he could one day be a .300 hitter who knocks 20-25 out annually.
