Peddie differences to blame?

Another of Vince's voices has weighed in.
Mississauga businessman Nav Bhatia -- who attended Vince Carter's wedding on
July 3 in Palm Beach, Fla. -- says the Raptors star is willing to continue
playing in Toronto, provided that team president Richard Peddie, consultant
Jack McCloskey and director of player personnel Jim Kelly are fired.
"I want to make it perfectly clear that Vince has no problem at all with (new
general manager) Rob Babcock or (new coach) Sam Mitchell and that he is
looking forward to playing for them," Bhatia, a Raptors season-ticket holder
and Carter pal, told Sportsnet yesterday.
"Vince loves Toronto and he loves the fans of Toronto. He has two
condominiums in Toronto and he wants to live here for many, many more years.
"But he has serious problems playing for an organization that is run by
Richard Peddie. He has problems with Jack McCloskey and Jim Kelly, too."
