Raptors deal Kapono to Sixers
The Toronto Raptors and Philadelphia 76ers have gotten a jump on their
offseason roster maneuvering by agreeing to a swap of sharpshooting guard
Jason Kapono for rebounding specialist Reggie Evans.
Kapono, a six-year veteran, is a career 45.4 percent 3-point shooter.
Evans, a seven-year veteran, has averaged better than 6.5 rebounds per game
in five of his NBA seasons with a career best of 9.3 per game in 2004-05 with
Seattle.
