John Sivebaek insists - on Danish television - that the two clubs have settled on a ￡2.1 million deal, and says his client will travel to Madrid on Friday for a medical. Everton were desperate to try and retain the Dane's services and initially slapped a ￡4 million price-tag on his head. However, Real have remained persistent, and Gravesen's desire to join the Spanish giants appears to have forced Everton's hand.
