Thierry: Bring back Beckham

THIERRY HENRY last night insisted David Beckham should play for England
again.
Arsenal’s French superstar, a good friend of Beckham, was stunned when he
discovered the Real Madrid midfielder was not in Steve McClaren’s plans.
Henry backed Sun readers who last week voted unanimously for Beckham to be
brought back.
The Gunners skipper said: “Steve McClaren has a very difficult job. One of
the most difficult football jobs in the world. But David is a great player
and a great guy.
“I believe he still has so much to give England and it would be a shame if
he does not get another chance.
“We are now quite close. People get him wrong as he is not showbiz. In fact,
he reminds me of Zidane.
“You tell ZZ he is good and he looks away and says ‘OK, yeah, yeah.’ He is
embarrassed and David is like that.”
