The former coach thanks Real Madrid and their fans for their support
Fabio Capello wanted to thank the Club, coaching staff and fans
for the support shown to him at all times. The following statements
were made by the Italian coach once he found out he will not be
continuing as manager of Real Madrid.

FABIO CAPELLO PRESS RELEASE
Now that the decision adopted by the Board of Directors of
Real Madrid CF concerning my dismissal as coach of the first team
of the Club has been made public, I would like to publicly thank
Real Madrid CF for allowing me to coach this great Club for a second time,
during which I was able to contribute to winning the League title
(as was the case in the 1996/97 season).
頭頭不爽到解雇我的事實終於開誠布公了~~~,
但是還是感謝他們,讓我有機會在家裡放兩個西甲冠軍獎盃當裝飾.
I am grateful to the squad, coaches, coaching and medical staff,
equipment managers and Franco Baldini for all their support.
小夥子們,老傢伙們都很令人感激(那個頭頭跟米賈絕對不是我故意漏提)
I would also like to mention the Club's fans in Spain and around
the world (without a doubt the best there are) to whom I would like
to reiterate my thanks for their unconditional support.
謝謝各地的球迷們,你們不分晝夜的元氣彈我收到了.
