[新聞] Bayern Munich Set To Sign Arjen Robben From Real Madrid

The future of Arjen Robben at Real Madrid has been in danger ever since the
election of Florentino Perez as president at the Spanish powerhouse for a
second reign, but the Dutch attacker appeared to have convinced Perez of his
qualities with a number of outstanding performances during pre-season.

Nevertheless, on Wednesday a report emerged from England that Robben could
leave Madrid after all, as Premier League champions Manchester United are
ready to table a bid for the tricky winger.

The Red Devils are not the only team that are keen to sign the Dutch
international though. According to German newspaper TZ, Bundesliga powerhouse
Bayern Munich are also hot on the trail of the 25-year-old and they are
supposedly already in advanced negotiations with the Merengues.
拜仁是另一家有興趣的俱樂部，並已占據有利位置~
The Bavarians have made a disastrous start to the 2009-10 Bundesliga campaign
and are desperate to strengthen their squad in order to fight for the league
title again. Robben appears to be one of their main targets on the transfer
market.

The report suggests that Madrid and Bayern are already on the verge of
agreeing terms and that the transfer could be a done deal before the weekend.
The paper did not disclose any details of the proposed move.

UPDATE: Numerous reports in Spain, from AS to La Vanguardia and Antena 3 are
also convinced that Robben is bound for Bayern.

It is also speculated that the bargain price of €25 million (more than €10m
shy of the original fee Madrid paid to Chelsea) will pave the way for the
'White House' to snap up Ribery from the Allianz Arena next summer.
