Arbeloa :6.5 Was caught moving in too narrow on occasion, leaving space on the flank, but was always committed and strong in the tackle against some tricky opponents. Ricardo Carvalho: 7.5 Slightly fortunate not to give away a free kick for a challenge on Ibrahimovic on the edge of the area, but otherwise was a rock, marshalling the marauding threat of 'Ibra' using all of his experience. Pepe: 6.5 Tough and uncompromising, and for long spells he and Carvalho bullied Ibrahimovic out of the match, as the Portuguese pairing notched up Madrid's third consecutive Champions League clean sheet. Marcelo: 6.0 Not a natural full-back, and Milan found joy by exploiting the space he often left when bombing forward. His positional sense is still questionable, although once again proved a useful outlet in the final third. Cristiano Ronaldo:8.0 (Top of the Match) The Portuguese was inspirational, and the elder statesmen in the Milan defence simply couldn't handle him. Rocketed a free kick through the wall past Amelia, then seconds later laid on Oezil's deflected second. Could have more had it not been for the gloves of the visiting shot-stopper. Xabi Alonso:6.5 Neat and tidy when holding the ball, but strong and harrying when chasing down Pirlo and Seedorf, ensuring that neither were allowed any time on the ball. Looks to enjoy playing with Sami Khedira Mesut Özil:7.5 The German has taken no time to settle at the Santiago Bernabeu, and tonight produced vintage interplay with Ronaldo as los Blancos flooded forward. Deflected goal left Milan shell-shocked, and he looks to be an inspired purchase. Sami Khedira:7.0 Improving with every game he plays for los Blancos, and although a lot of the work he does goes unnoticed, proved to be a powerful shield in front of his central defenders to break up Milan attacks. Ángel Fabián Di María：6.5 Was up against Antonini on the right and ran directly at him to get the defender turning to face his own goal whenever possible. However, was guilty of being a touch selfish when team-mates were better placed, and need to improve his decision-making. Gonzalo Gerardo Higuaín:5.0 Most definitely an night to forget for the Argentine, who squandered three simple opportunities to add to Real Madrid's lead, but looked less than convincing with all three. Will need to improve his sharpness. 替補: Lassana Diarra:5.0 Given the last five minutes to shore up the midfield. Granero:4.5 On late in the day to see out the victory.
