Hedrick, 26, latched on quickly with the Red Sox after the Giants last week
set him free. Though he hasn’t pitched above Double-A (and the Giants used
him as more of a multi-inning reliever than a closer), Hedrick compiled a
1.77 ERA in his two seasons with Connecticut, striking out 146 (9.6 per
nine), walking 58 (3.8) and giving up just eight home runs (0.5) in 137
innings.

球探報告感覺很普通，但是看他的成績就疑惑為啥要養在 A/A+/2A 這麼多年？

2008, 2A, ERA 1.37, K/BB 3.52, K/9 10.10
在 1A 三個球季季 K/9 都在 11.6 以上，ERA 最高 3.55 (...)
