Chris King (St. Petersburg): Have you ever seen Deven Marrero this season? If yes, can you talk your thoughts on him? Is he just a defense-only shortshop? Chris King (St. Petersburg): 你這季有去看Deven Marrero嗎？對他的想法是什麼，是只有手套的游擊手嗎？ Jason Cole: I have and wasn't crazy about the bat at all. Good approach, but lacking punch and I questioned the mechanics. I'd put a plus on the glove and he's a relatively instinctual player overall, but the bat is very likely going to keep him from being an ideal every day guy. Maybe more of a utility or up-and-down type. I think he could do that. I like the bat and the approach, but I don't see a 3B long-term and I don't see big power coming out of the bat. He's probably going to be a major league regular, but I don't see the type of ceiling that warrants such lofty praise coming his way. Maybe a high-average corner bat that has secondary skills, which is a damn good player. He's not a star.
