Mr. August: Ken Griffey Jr., CF, Cincinnati Reds. Junior deserves some love
for a fantastic comeback year, particularly since the All-Star break, and
August has been his best month. Griffey led all Major Leaguers in homers in
August with 10 and chipped in 20 runs, 19 RBIs and a .355 batting average to
get him to .300 overall
