No relief:
There was little to feel good about from the seven Rockies pitchers who
combined to give up 17 runs.
Aaron Taylor "got hammered," according to Hurdle, but he will continue to get
chances to prove that his 20.79 ERA is an illusion.
Javier Lopez's shutout fourth inning preserved his perfect 0.00 ERA, but
Hurdle said, "He got outs, but he got the ball up two times. A ball was
driven into right-center and a ball was lined out to center. He just didn't
give up a run."
It was a day of missed opportunities for pitchers trying to get a leg up on
a bullpen job, with only Cortes' ninth inning standing out from Hurdle's
perspective. Nobody is running away with a bullpen job as of yet, making it
hard to distinguish separation among the candidates.
"There's some," Hurdle said. "Not much."
看來今年牛棚的問題還是特別大....
