http://0rz.net/b40fW BATTING ORDER 1. Aaron Miles, 2B: A switch-hitter, Miles demonstrated a line-drive stroke as a rookie in 2004. Now, he must get on base and display speed. 2. Garrett Atkins, 3B: Defensive questions remain. But his hitting eye and patient stroke might be enough for his offense to make his defense less an issue. 3. Todd Helton, 1B: With no health questions entering the season, a batting title is within reach. He's so prolific as a hitter that his Gold Glove defense is overshadowed. 4. Preston Wilson, CF: If healthy from last year's two knee surgeries, Wilson can regain the RBI title that he won in 2003. But he'll face trade rumors throughout. 5. Matt Holliday, LF: Holliday made consistent contact for a rookie last season. He is more nimble in the field and on the basepaths, but can he reach his power potential? 6. Dustan Mohr, RF: There's always a player who blossoms at Coors Field. Can Mohr, whose hard swing and hard-driving outfield play is a good combination for this club, do it in 2005? 7. Clint Barmes, SS: Expect to also see him bat first or second. Generally, though, the Rockies will protect him because he's a rookie at a key defensive position. 8. J.D. Closser, C: A switch-hitter, he has hit well throughout his minor league career. Things could be uneven with the bat as he learns the job defensively, however. ROTATION 1. Joe Kennedy, LHP: Kennedy tamed Coors Field in 2004 (6-1, 3.59 ERA). His 2005 challenges are to do it again and avoid shoulder problems that have shelved him briefly the last two years. 2. Jason Jennings, RHP: After the 2004 All-Star break, Jennings was Colorado's best pitcher (4-3, 3.19 ERA). Can he overcome a history of poor early-season performances? 3. Jeff Francis, LHP: Last year's top pitcher in the minors, Francis won the job by pitching with maturity. His forte is location, rather than overpowering stuff. 4. Jamey Wright, RHP: Wright struggled at home his first go-round with Colorado (1996-99), but pitched well there after returning to the Rockies last season (0-0, 3.98 ERA). 5. Shawn Chacon, RHP: Can he erase the memory of last year's bullpen experiment and regain his 2003 All-Star form? He has a chance if he can avoid walks -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 203.68.107.76
