I'm concerned about Rockies' lack of speed. It's a pity we failed to sign Willie Harris. I have a theory about the relation between steal base and home run generation- a speedy runner on base will make a pitcher distractive,therefore,our batters will have more sweet strikes to hit hard. Aggressive baserunning ignites homerun generation in this ballpark! Let's trace back to 1995-1997, we had a lot of SB and many HRs,and both are less and less in recent years. It seems that SB is always proporion to HR generation in Rockies history. How about adding a real speedy player like Harris? I think that Helton,Holliday or Hawpe will hit more homeruns if there is always a speedy runner on base. S.Y.
