DC Dreams: 20 Years In The Making

The countdown is on! Team USA is less than two weeks away
from fighting Russia for the Davis Cup title. Fans may have
been waiting months since Portland was named the host city,
but Andy has been waiting nearly a lifetime. In most every
interview covering his career goals, Andy has named winning
the Davis Cup title among the top three. The USA squad has
come close over the years but hosting the final at home is
an opportunity Andy has been dreaming of since he was barely
taller than the Davis Cup trophy itself.

of Mrs. Roddick. He may have a different hair cut now, but even
at a young age, Andy had the same fierce stare fans will certainly
see in Portland in two weeks time. With his eye on the prize, Andy
joins the dedicated team of James Blake and the Bryan Brothers to
fight for the US’s first Davis Cup title since 1995.
