Santiago on hold:
Catcher Benito Santiago, after missing 12 days and then playing two games, was
held out of the lineup Sunday and was not expected to play Monday either.
Manager Tony Pena said Santiago took a foul ball off his right ankle,
aggravating the inflamed Achilles tendon which kept him out earlier.
"He's going good. We want to make sure he's where he wants to be," pena said.
"We'll give him two days off. He'll be ready."

Gobble to throw:
Left-hander Jimmy Gobble will test his strained abdominal muscle by throwing
a bullpen session Tuesday.
He suffered the injury while taking batting practice. Give these American
League pitchers a bat and things can get dicey.

Sweeney seems OK: After missing three games, Sweeney believes his stiff lower
back will allow him to play in a couple of days. "I had BP today and it felt
great," he said Sunday. "So tomorrow we're going to take ground balls and see
how it feels. It's just a little stiff. It's nothing bad, it's not muscular."

看來Sweeney沒事了
