The Kansas City Royals have announced this morning that they have picked up
the 2013 option on manager Ned Yost. Yost will be managing his second full
year in Kansas City after being fired by the Milwaukee Brewers the year
before.
The value of the deal has not yet been announced. This gives Yost job
security and more confidence heading into this season. The fifty seven year
old will be the sixteenth full time manager in the history of the Royals.
The Royals are thus far 126-163 under Yost. He managed the Brewers from the
years 2003-2008. The Royals, thought not expected to compete this season,
have some of the top prospects and young players in baseball and could have a
promising future under Yost. It was announced earlier in the week that GM
Dayton Moore passed up chances on Edwin Jackson and Roy Oswalt because he is
confident in his young pitching.

所以明年一定還看的到他..
