The Royals will designate catcher Adam Moore for assignment, ESPN.com's Jerry
Crasnick reports (on Twitter). Moore, 28, appeared in four games for the
Royals in 2012.
The Royals claimed Moore off of waivers from the Mariners in July and called
him up for four games after rosters expanded in September. Moore spent most
of the season at Triple-A, where he posted a .259/.326/.413 batting line in
229 plate appearances.
