The Royals have announced the signing of outfielder Endy Chavez to
a minor league contract. Chavez is represented by Peter E. Greenberg &
Associates and is the third veteran outfielder the Royals have signed
this month, following their minor league contracts with Xavier Nady and
Willy Taveras.
