[新聞] Royals deal Homer Bailey to A's
Royals right-hander Homer Bailey is headed to the A's in a trade, sources told MLB.com's Mark Feinsand on Sunday. Kansas City general manager Dayton Moore also alluded to as much on the pregame show before the Royals' game against the Tigers.
Bailey was a late scratch from Sunday’s start, with the Royals only indicating they would explain the late scratch later. Bailey has been healthy this season, and he has been rumored to be a trade chip because of his affordability.
The Royals are paying the league minimum salary for Bailey. The rest of his contract is being paid by the Dodgers. Oakland will absorb only about $250,000 of Bailey's salary, Feinsand reported.
