Feliz's grand blow leads Giants' romp
Hennessey works out of trouble; Bonds homerless

HOUSTON -- Barry Bonds did not hit a home run Monday night, but he and his San
Francisco teammates ripped Houston rookie right-hander Taylor Buchholz for a
10-1 victory before 32,980 at Minute Maid Park.
Randy Winn opened the game with a homer to right field, and the Giants used
five extra-base hits in the first three innings, including a grand slam by
Pedro Feliz, to score eight runs.
Feliz, who had doubled and scored in the second, hit the first pitch from
Buchholz (2-3) into the nearby boxes in left field for his fourth career grand
slam.
Bonds, who walked in the first, contributed a double on an 0-2 pitch in the
third, driving in a run. He struck out against left-handed reliever Trever
Miller in the fourth and popped to short with runners on first and third in
the sixth against righty Dave Borkowski, his final at-bat of the game.
Right-hander Brad Hennessey (3-1) took advantage of his teammates' largesse to
pitch five innings, allowing seven hits but only one run.
Hennessey, who threw 103 pitches, retired Preston Wilson and Jason Lane on
back-to-back popups in the first with the bases loaded.
Craig Biggio, who had two hits for Houston, doubled in the third for his
2,839th career hit, tying Charlie Gehringer for 41st on the all-time list.
